In his text about Mexican art Ilya Falkovsky describes:
On Mexico’s popular Day of the Dead holiday, artists decorated the streets with traditional tapetes, colored murals painted with sand, chalk and flowers, but this time the tapetes contained messages of resistance and hope or depicted the names and faces of all those killed in the uprising.
Now I see that we have been missing sand and flowers!
